Divorce

The divorce rate in America for first marriage is 41%

Can you believe that?!

Well, it's all over now. Dad filed papers, the house is going onto the market, and Mark and I are still unemployed. You hear when parents get divorced with little kids they say nothing will change and you want to believe it. But being older you see how mean parents are to each other. And you know things will change! They already have. You think once your older you don't have to worry about your parents getting a divorce, that you were the only one in school who's parents were still together,it doesn't get any better when your older.

We are now a broken family!

Rachel, I can tell how sad you are about this, and I'm truly sorry. And I know you and Mark have been VERY involved and in-the-middle-of-it-all, too, which I'm sure has made it even more difficult. Honestly, please call if you just need someone to talk to. We sure love all of you!

Oh Rachel that made me cry. I'm so sorry for you and your family. I'm sorry you kids have been in the middle of all of it (just like Laurel said). Hang it there. We're sure praying for you guys. If anything, let this be a motivation to work on your own marriage. I know it is for me! We love you!
