BSU Weekend

This weekend, Dad was doing a tournament at BSU (Boise State University). On Saturday Mark and I took Savannah to the games. It was a gorgeous day we all came home a little pink.

Spring Time

Last week Dad came over and we had a BBQ. I love grilled hot dogs I can't eat them any other way.

Mark and I also spent the day with Sydney and Gavin at the Park. It was a little windy but at least the sun was out.

Alice in Wonderland

So today Mark and I went to see "Alice in Wonderland" with Mom and Sydney. It was amazing. I loved it. All the character were played by great Actors and Actresses. I recommend going and seeing it. My favorite character was Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum. They were so cute.

My Family Tree

Family Tree
(Cherie Call)

She still remembers the way her heart broke
On the day that she watched him drive away
How the tears fell, and how the wind blew
And tore the branches from a tree near the driveway
And she didn't think she'd make it through the day
Sometimes all she could think to do was pray

That God would tend the broken branches of this tree
So as the years went by, her children still would see
That their love is a circle, even with this missing piece
If God would tend the broken branches of this family tree

And as the years passed, that tree would hold strong
Through every rainstorm it proved that it would stay
Through all the teardrops and all the ball games
And all the every other weekends when the kids would go away
Because she knows that their daddy loves them too
She prays for strength to face the changes that they've all been going through

And God tends the broken branches of this tree
He keeps His watchful eye on every tiny leaf
And their love is a circle in ways that only God can see
As He tends the broken branches of this family tree
And in the end I don't know how it will all be sorted out
All I know is that the circle won't be broken
There will be hands to hold, and there will be love unfeigned
And it will bridge the gaps between all the things we can't explain
But in the meantime

God will tend the broken branches of the trees
And as eternity goes on this will be
Because our love is a circle in this human family
And God can mend the broken branches
And He will tend the broken branches
Because He loves all the branches
Of His family tree

OMG

Well I don't know how to put a You Tube Video onto my blog. But the trailer for Eclipse is on. I can't wait to see it.

Dude... give me some of your tots

Nathan: Napoleon, give me some of your tots.
Napoleon: No, go find your own.
Nathan: Come on, give me some of your tots.
Napoleon: No, I'm freakin' starving! I didn't get to eat anything today.
Nathan: (Kicks the tots)
Napoleon: Ugh! Gross! Freakin' idiot!!!

Oh my goodness!! I was listening to the radio this morning and the radio DJ guy was like "Dude give me your tots." It's from Napolean Dynamite. Kendle do you remember?!! I was down in Tucson visiting after I graduated HS. Aunt Tanya took us to see this movie. Kendle and I did not want to see it, we thought it looked dumb. But we laughed through the whole thing and for the rest of the time that I was down there we were quoting the movie.

GOOD TIMES!!!

My new Part Time Job

For the past few months I have been babysitting for the Crawfords. They are in our ward and live two houses down the street from us. I usually go to their house around 8:30am about 3 days a week. I get Savannah(11) and Sydney(6) to school and then spend the morning with Gavin(3). Then I pick Sydney up at noon and Savannah gets home around 4. So we play, go to the library, do crafts and watch movies. I usually babysit until 5:30 ish. I love those kids!!

Today we played at our house. They love our dogs especially Chloe. Mom had made a "sheet fort" to go over the card table. Grandma Marge had once made us on when we were kids but it was in our house fire. Well it wasn't big enough for 2 kids and 2 adults to play in. So Mark made a super sized fort for us to play in today. It was lots of fun.

Sydney and Gavin in front of the fort.

Mark was the "Monster" trying to get us.

Gavin and Chloe

Sydney and Gavin with the few toys we have left.

Gavin has the bluest eyes.

Umpire Dad

Two weeks ago I went with Dad to Twin Falls Idaho. It is about 2 hours away from Meridian. He was umpiring a double Header for CSI College. (College of Southern Idaho) Well driving there we pass a town called Jerome. I thought it was a fun name to say. Then we saw this building which is Jerome Cheese. I don't know why but I thought it was weird and funny.(Yes, Dad laughed at me.)

Dad being silly

Dad looking spiffy.

It's Been So Long

Well two weeks ago, I was sitting on the bed with the laptop. It wasn't on my lap, I had set it on the bed to type something up. Well, my dear dog Pickles heard a noise, jumped on the keyboard and jumped off the bed. Well she popped a few keys off. Two of them we were able to snap back on but one we couldn't. We took it to Geek Squad at Best Buy and they couldn't fix it. They had to ship our whole computer to Toshiba to replace the entire keyboard. Mark and I thought it was such a waste to replace the keyboard for one key but they fixed our key. So it was gone for two weeks. But I am back and ready to blog. :)
