Why

Why can't things be like they were?
Why can't soda's be 25 cents?
Why marry if it ends in divorce?
Why can't Families stay together?
Why can't it be like when divorce was never an option?
Why are there "other women" or "other men?"
Why do you confide in someone besides your spouse?
Why do you hate?
Why do hold grudges?
Why do love one child over the others?
Why do you compare your children?
Why do you lie?
Why do you stay away?
Why not work on it?
Why put on a happy face for others?
Why judge?
Why not tell your children the truth?

Why isn't LOVE enough?

Thanks to my brother...

I flew to Vancouver on Tuesday evening. It was a quick trip for a doctor's appointment. Aaron picked me up and stayed with him at Grandpa's. He was my own personal driver. We even got to go to Mars for dinner. YUMMY!! My favorite. And we were able to see Grandma Lois on Tuesday night. On Wednesday I had my appointment, saw Gloria and Taylor and then had dinner at Red Robin with Aaron, Monic, Erik and Uncle Dan. Then I flew home Thursday morning.

Thanks Aaron for driving me around!!! Love Ya!

New Glasses for Mark

Here is the story of Mark's glasses. The pair you see below he has had since High School. And if wasn't for Adrian (LOL) his glasses would not be broken. When we took Adrian and Hayley to the airport, at 5:30 am, after their visit this summer I went inside with them and Mark drove in a circle to wait. When I found him there were cars behind him so I jumped in the car. As we were pulling onto the freeway, Mark was like "ooh know, you are sitting on my glasses!" And yes I was sitting on them. Both ear pieces were broken off. So when we got home Mark scotched tape them back together. They lasted a few days but then they were left on the bed and once again I sat on them. So of course Mark blamed me but my defense was why leave them on a seat or bed and then "It was Adrian's fault." Mark fixed them once again with duct tape. So since August Mark has been wearing duct tape glasses.

For Christmas, Mom and Dad gave Mark these beautiful pair of clown glasses. At first he was like okay....thanks. And the ear pieces were taped together. Taped to the glasses was a buisness card for Costco Optical for a new pair of glasses. :)

And finally his new pair of non duct taped glasses. We picked them up today.

P.S The first time of the glasses breaking was my fault I didn't look but really who leaves their glasses in a chair?
