Christmas Decorations

Mom, Mark and I put up our artificial Christmas tree the Sunday after Thanksgiving. It is our decorative tree in the front window. Hopefully this week we will go get a real tree for all of our fun ornaments. Thank you to Grandma Lois over the years for all the beanie babies and Hallmark snowmen. It sure does make things festive.

Did you notice our advent calendars? We don't like the chocolate in them but its fun to count down the days!!

Hockey

This evening Dad invited Mark and I to the Idaho Steelhead Hockey game. Dad had a meetings today with his reps and they were going to the game and had extra tickets. So we went, we had never been to a hockey game. It was fun. We were in a luxury box. All the food was provided along with drinks and desert. Hockey is fun to watch, there were no fights but lots of pushing.

Let it Snow...

Beautiful snow this morning. It was Joseph's first experience with snow. It snowed for awhile and then melted away. We are supposed to get more tonight and tomorrow. I love snow. This afternoon we put up our Christmas lights before it starts to snow again.

Monic's Baptism

Last Friday, Mom and I drove to Vancouver for Monic's Baptism. Friday night we had dinner with Aaron at Mars. Saturday morning I was able to go see Rudy, Glora and Loreen. We had nice hour or so to sit and chat. Then it was a busy afternoon running errands and getting food for the evening. At 7pm Monic was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Aaron baptized her. We had lots of family show up. Monic's parents and sister, my Dad, Grandma Lois, the Bret Claytons, Jen and Spencer, Aunt Cindy, Missy and Nathan, Uncle John and then friends from work and church. Afterwards we had a nice gathering at Aaron's house with food and cake and good friends. Sunday morning we went to 11:00 church where Dad confirmed Monic. Mom and I left after church to head home. It was a quick weekend but a very spiritual weekend.
