Halloween Party Time...

On Saturday, Mark and I had a Halloween Party for our Sunbeam class. It was so much fun. We had pumpkin sandwhiches for lunch. And for dessert we had Dirt and Worms. The kids were so cute in their costumes. Mark was a Spartan Warrior and I was a lady bug. It was so hard to find an approiate costume for me, everything is "sexy" Not good.

Mom wore her pumpkin shirt. Shelby was a bunny and her friend was a black cat. It was a great party.

Linder Pumpkin Farm and Corn Maze

Today we went to Linder Farm and Corn Maze. As you can see we went through the corn maze which is in the shape of Boise State University's Bronco and a football player. (Weird I know.) Dad says I watch too many movies because I am afraid of going to a corn field because of the "Children of the Corn." I saw that movie a long time ago but it still freaks me out.

I know our pictures are not as cute as Hayley playing in the pumpkin field but we had fun.
Mark was playing "Phantom" Don't know why!! He thought he was being funny.

After we picked out our pumpkins we had a little snack. 4 corn dogs for Dad, Shelby, Mom and Mark. And nachos for me. It was 72 degrees here today and a little muggy. Last week it was 40 degrees. But we had a great outing and at least it wasn't raining.

My Cousin is Famous

My cousin Michael is the Cosmo's Bachelors for Oregon. It is in Novembers Cosmo. I am not a big Cosmo reader but my Mom went to the store yesterday who bought a Cosmo. My mom blushed alittle when reading some of the other articles in it but we are supporting my cousin and my mom's nephew. Good Job Mike!

Trying to Cook

On Monday night, I decided to make dinner. It turned out pretty good. I roasted a chicken. I stuffed it with garlic, lemons and thyme. And roasted it in a pan with potatos, carrots and onions. The chicken turned out delicious but half of my vegetable burned. So we picked out the good ones. Dad was home, so he and Shelby came over for dinner.

I also made a pear and apple crsip. (sorry no picture) I served it with some vanilla ice cream. It was so good and everyone loved it. Thank you to Ida from Barefoot Contessa on the Food Network Channel. She makes fancy food easy.
