A Night Out

On Friday night, Mark went to the Father Son Campout. He said he had great time. He's never been on one of these camp outs. But he met new people and had a good time.

Then Saturday night, we were invited to go out with a couple from the ward. We got some pizz To Go and went to eat in a park. It was really nice. Then we went to another familys house in the ward and played games. It was a game I had never heard of before but I won the first round. It's nice that we are meeting new people and to be invited to do things. We are the youngest married couple in the ward plus we don't hace kids. But at least we don't have to pay babysitter to go out. :)

Day at the Lake

On Wednesday, we went out to Lucky Peak.
It was a 93 degree day and the lake was just the key.
We took the waverunner and the tube out.
Shelby's friend Logan also came with us.

Michael Jackson

I love Michael Jackson's songs. Even though he went through a lot in the past (physically and legally) he is a music legend. He is the King of Pop.

Happy Anniversary

Yesterday was Mark and I 3rd Wedding Anniversary. And my dear Husband was SICK. He has had a cold the past couple of days and we were hoping he would be better but he wasn't. I found a park to go to and have a picnic lunch in Boise. I map quested and had the directions but the park was not there. It was an office complex. So that wasn't good. And poor Mark is putting on a good face but he is fighting a fever, coughing, sneezing and achy. So we checked into the Hilton early (Dad got us a room for the night :) ) and Mark slept from 2 -6. My poor baby. We did go to dinner. We went to On The Border. And then back to the hotel, gave him medicine and put him to bed. Of course sleeping wasn't easy because he can't breathe. But at least I was there to take care of him.

This morning at 11 we had a Temple Prep class. Only 3 more. Then Mark slept from 12:30 to 6. He just can't beat this.

Shelby and I went with Mom to her Doctor's App. She was getting steriod shots into her spine for her pain. Now, I give blood all the time and shots don't bother me. Shelby and I were in the room watching. The first two needles were fine. Then he pulled out a HUGE NEEDLE!! I felt light headed and told Shelby I was gonna be sick. I ran to the bathroom and did. I came back out and Shelby said that the doctor told Mom one of her daughters was sick. Mom automatically knew it was me. Shelby is stronger than I am. Good thing Shelby was driving. So, seeing needles on other people not got for me. :)

More of Vancouver

We got to go to our favorite Chinese Restaurant.
YUM!!

Dad flew into Portland on Tuesday night and all
of us kids met him for dinner.

On our way home we stopped at Multonmah Falls. (sp)
The last time I was there was years ago with the Farrs.

Trip to Vancouver

Last Thursday, Shelby, Mark and I drove to Vancouver.
Shelby wanted to go to a friends graduation.
So Mark and I decided to tag along.

This is Jenny, the recent HS Graduate.

We also were able to see Craig and have dinner with him, Aunt Tanya
and Grandpa.

Carpet Time

Last night, Mark and I helped Mom shampoo the carpets.
We did the living room and the hallway.
It's what we get for having 3 dogs and one of them not completly
house trained.

We all took turns going back and forth. It only took us
about an hour.

Saturday's Mini Reunion

Today was Aunt Phylis's 80th Birthday Party.
For me it was a mini reunion to see Granpa, Aunt Tanya,
Aunt Nancy, Uncle Scott and Wanda.
It was a 2 1/2 hour drive from Boise to La Grande.
Mom and I didn't realize that there was a time difference
between here and there so we were about 45 minutes early,
when we first thought we were 45 minutes late.
