Primary Activity

Today our ward had our Primary Activity.

Dad played Noah and Mark and I

went to all the stations with our group.

It wouldn't be a primary activity without the fire
alarm going off. We had to evacuate all 250 kids plus adults.
It was the last 1/2 hour of the activity but it is HOT outside.

But all of the kids loved seeing the fire truck and

fire fighters. I said one of the fire fighters was a Hunk.
Then Dad said he was "calendar material." HaHa

Later we found it that Dad's fog machine cause all of it.
One of the Sister's asked Dad to use his fog machine for dramatic effect in the
room with Lehi and the tree of life. Well no one turned it off when
the room filled up with smoke so the alrms started going off.
I have never had a fire alarm go off at church. First we thought that one of the kids
pulled the alarm but is was the Fog.

Memorial Day

Anderson Ranch!

Most of the Family and Shelby's friend Jessica.

Today, the five of us, plus Shelby's frind Jessica went up

to Anderson Ranch for the day.

We got there about 12 ish.

Dad took Mom, Mark, Shelby and Jessica on a tube ride
while I stayed on the beach to tan and watch our stuff.

Well, while they were gone a dark cloud rolled in and down poured on me.

Thank goodness for "sun" umbrellas. So I cuddled under one umbrella

and put all our stuff under another one. When they got back, they didn't

believe me that it rained because they were down the lake where

it didn't rain. So I have proof by these pics that it rained on me.

It only rained for 10 or 15 minutes but it poured.

Work before Play

We were up and in the yard at 9am.

WE had some yard work and weeding to do before we could take the boat out.

Plus Mark needed time to eat some dirt and worms.

But we were all willing to help. The work got done fast.

Plus it gave us time to work on our tans. :)

Preparing for Saturday

As you can see this is me on the boat in the garage.

Last night, Dad, Mark and I cleaned the boat and charged the

battery. We were getting the boat ready for a Day of Fun!!!

Blowing Up the Tube

Last night Mark and I helped Dad blow up the tube. I guess there was a hole in it that we needed to find so we can fix it. We are taking the boat and waverunner out this weekened.

Garage Sale Weekend

Yesterday and today was the Neighborhood Garage Sale. So Mom and I decided to spend this week sorting and cleaning out boxes to get ready. Yesterday was slow since it was Friday but today was alot busier. It was 82 degrees, it was wonderful. I was out there from 7:00 am to about 2:00 pm. I was so excitied about the sun but got alittle sunburned. Ok alot sunburned. My legs are red, I have a nice farmers tan and nice raccoon eyes. So I am alittle uncomfortable. And Mark was out there most of the day with me and he just got darker. I will down load pics later.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!

After church Dad made his usual Sunday

Breakfast. We have had 70 degree weather so we decided to

get the patio furniture out. Dad BBQ and we had dinner outside.

I felt old. I want to get all dressed up and go out and dance.

This is Shelby's friend Ella. Her and her date were going with Shelby

Shelby's friend Lakin came over and did her hair and makeup.

Shelby even decided to wear fake eye lashes, which we thought were very hot but Shelby was alittle hesitant.

But she looked gorgeous.

Shelby's other friend Ella came over to get ready as well.

Shelby is a Sophmore going to prom. So us girls knows how

important that is.

I got Screwed!

I don't know what it is but I always get nails and screws in my tire.

Last night I was headed out of the neighbothood

to get Mark from work and I heard a weird sound.

It was the flattest tire I have ever seen

So this morning we (meaning Mark) jacked the car up

and took off the tire.

It was a huge screw. If you look carefully you can see

how de flated it is.

Mark using his muslces to put the fixed tire back on.

We took the tire to Les Schwab and paid $12 to get the tire fixed.
