The big news starts with yesterday. Mark and I went and met with the Bishop. We got a calling to be sunbeam teachers. I am so excited because I have done it before, Mark is excited to serve but alittle nervous about all the kids. Plus we are going to start Temple Prep classes again since its been a year. AND we both got temporary temple recommeneds to go do Baptisms for the Dead. We are going to go this week with the Youth. We are both totally excited.

And then today Mark found out he got the job at BSU.(Aunt Tanya I'm sorry bc I emailed you this moring saying he didn't get it.) But it all got worked out and he starts Wednesday. FULL BENEFITS :) So it has been a great couple of days. The Lord will always provide!!!!

Oh my gosh! I love family home videos. Mark and I have been watching some of the old videos at my Parent's house. There are hilarious. Adrian with curly long hair, kendle with blonde hair and me with pig tails. We were just so cute. Clayton birthday parties at Grandma and Grandpa's Rocky Butte house. Us grandkids fighting over the alligator kiddie pool,(I think it was an alligator) plus fighting over who got the ribbons of the presents. Good times. Plus the fashion styles back in the day. I'm sorry but Aunt Tanya's glasses were bigger then my Dad's. It is all great family times. I love all of my family.

Church Choir

The last time I stood up and sang in front of people was maybe 8-10yrs ago. Since middle school. I don't know what made me stop singing it just happened. So these days it's Dad and Miss Shelby singing. But today, Mark and I had just sat down for sacrement mtg and the choir director comes up to me and asks if I am a "former" Clayton. She then asked if I had the singing ability like Dad and Shelby. Then asked if I sang soprano or alto. I said that I haven't song in along time but that I sang soprano. Being the week of Spring Break, there were people out of town and she only had one soprano singing and asked if I would be able to sing with the choir during sacrement. First I said no but with Husband sitting next to me saying "oh she sings so well, of course she will do it," I couldn't say no. And it wasn't just a normal sacrement mtg it was Ward Conference, so all the stakies were there. I was nervous but got through it. And I have to admit it wasn't that bad. The Spirit was amazingly strong and who knows if there is more to come of Rachel singing again. :)

Bogus Basin

Yesterday, Mark and I drove up to Bogus Basin. It was snowing and we watched all of the skiers and snowboarders. We decided that our next family trip needs to be to Utah to play on the Mountains.

This morning Mom and Dad left for the along weekened. Dad had some buisness today and tomorrow. Then he is umpiring this weekened in Spokane/Richland. So Mom decided to tag along. So technically, Mark and I are "babysitting" Shelby. (But not really.)

Old Pictures

These pics I found on my camera and I wanted to show Grandpa how much snow he got at his house. So if the Farr/Sander girls can show Grandpa that would be great.

Getting to know Meridian/Boise

Mark and I wanted to go out and explore today. We did take the GPS just incase. We made our way to BSU. At first I thought their Mascot was a horse, then a mustang. Then we learned it is a Bronco.

Then we made our way to the Boise Temple. A lot smaller then Portland but still beautiful.

This morning I had an interview at Harley Davidson. It went well and it will be a very fun place to work. The guy I met with was way cool. I hope I get the job.

Our room is almost set up. Mark is almost of suitcases. In the bonus room there is no closet so we went out and purchased a rolling rack to hold our clothes.

So I have been playing on my blog and everyone can post now. I have no "friends" so if you can join my blog that would great. Thanks

This is Mom's new dog, Chloe. She is very cute. She loves to chew on shoe laces and nibble on your toes. I keep calling her Chicka which was other chiuhuha(sp) who passed away years ago. But Pickles is still my dog even though she is getting old.
